Universities South West (formerly HERDA-SW) is the regional higher education association for South West England. We represent a strong partnership of universities and higher education institutions working together to influence and shape opportunity in a creative and dynamic region.

Our vision is to position Universities South West and higher education at the centre of a socially, economically and culturally enriched South West region transformed by innovation, embracing academic excellence and diversity.

We will promote outstanding knowledge creation, scholarship and creativity, encourage entrepreneurialism and seek practical solutions in order to make a positive impact on the economic growth and social inclusivity of our region.
