The Bristol Centre for Nanoscience and Quantum Information (NSQI) houses state-of-the-art specialised laboratories whose vibration and acoustic noise levels are amongst the lowest achieved anywhere world-wide. It also has a unique purpose-designed environment in which a multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research community drawn from science, engineering and medicine operate through stimulating interactions and the exchange of ideas.
It provides a focus of expertise for leading scientists and engineers from the University, the UK and across the world to work and interact. The NSQI is also preparing to house the new EPSRC funded Doctoral Training Centre in functional nanomaterials.
