The Centre for Rural Policy Research (CRPR) is an inter-disciplinary team of social scientists interested in the rural economy and society. They have a special focus on:

• Agricultural, environmental and bio-energy policy
• Sustainable land management 
• Agro-food regulation 
• Sustainable communities 
• The social and economic development of agriculture 
• The impacts of climate change on farming and land use

While most CRPR research is conducted in the UK it also has international partnerships. In addition to conducting research, CRPR staff play an active role in rural policy development.
