The Rural Property, Market and Development (RPMD) department builds upon the Royal Agricultural College’s unique and long standing knowledge of the rural property markets, and growing involvement on a broader range of rural development issues. Key areas of activity include:
RPMD provides a full understanding of the legislative and policy framework governing and directing rural properties and businesses. In addition, the team has specialist expertise, and extensive connections within the major rural sector organisations and industries. The RPMD is therefore uniquely placed for evaluating change, generating policies and developing broad-spectrum and business specific solutions that can be implemented effectively.
RPMD has an established track record working with public and private sector clients including DEFRA, Local Authorities and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Clients receive an individually tailored service to meet their needs with access to a multi-disciplinary team of property development, valuation, business management, environment and forestry professionals.
