Centre for Clinical Health Services Research, University of the West of England

The Centre for Clinical and Health Services Research was established in 2005. The Centre hosts four research programmes which are:

• Child health 
• Critical and emergency care 
• Long term conditions
• Prison health

The programmes have a clinical focus related to patient care, the delivery of health services and the development of advanced practice. Collaborative projects are also underway with colleagues in local NHS Trusts and in partnership with other universities.

These developments include the Centre for Child and Adolescent Health as a joint venture between the University of Bristol, the University of the West of England, North Bristol NHS Trust and United Bristol Hospital Trust.
