The Centre for Communications Research (CCR) was established in 1987 and its mission is to provide an environment in which research and postgraduate training of the highest calibre can be undertaken. The CCR collaborates with industry to deliver solutions to current and future market needs that are innovative, cost-effective and practical.
Given the breadth of the CCR’s expertise, it is often referred to as a ‘one-stop shop’ for telecommunications research with researchers having access to the latest experimental and computational facilities. It is home to approximately 120 researchers involved in the following areas:
