Centre for Energy and the Environment, University of Exeter

The Centre for Energy and the Environment, formed in 1977, has a broad base of research and consultancy skills in several fields including:

• Sustainable building design
• Building acoustics
• Environmental noise
• Transport-related air quality

The majority of the Centre's work is undertaken for our main sponsors, under the auspices of the South West Energy and Environment Group (SWEEG). Consultancy work is carried out for national and local commercial companies. Academic research is also undertaken, including the Prometheus EPSRC project.
