The Centre for Sustainable Power Distribution focuses on electrical power and energy systems, with an emphasis on sustainable power generation and supply. Resources available at the Centre include real time digital simulator system (RTDS), micro-grid system and fly-wheel energy storage devices.

The Centre researches all aspects of power generation, transmission and distribution, including:
