XSPO (Exeter Centre for Strategic Processes & Operations), University of Exeter

XSPO is a Research Centre within the School of Business and Economics and its team draws on extensive experience from research and consultancy projects in the UK, Europe and the USA.
 
The Centre is research-led and aims to develop new knowledge in business process management and to disseminate this knowledge to companies in the form of joint research projects, bespoke executive education and consultancy support.

XSPO currently has four main themes to its research:

• Identifying the relationship between managing processes and customer satisfaction
• Developing a set of rules and guidelines for improved process design
• Linking value creation and process design to generate increased revenue
• Developing strategies for business process outsourcing

In each of these themes XSPO work closely with both commercial and public organisations. Its aim is to publish its research in leading academic journals and crucially to inform practice in organisations through executive education and consultancy.
