The Centre for Space, Atmospheric and Oceanic Science (CSAOS) carries out research in remote-sensing techniques and in the exploitation of such techniques for scientific studies. It addresses fundamental problems in the natural environment of the Earth, its atmosphere, ionosphere and oceans.
