Thousands of international students come to South West England every year to study at one of its universities and in this section you can read about the some of our current and past students and find out more about what's it's like to study in the region.

Juliette Dorizo from the Seychelles studied for a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Plymouth. She tells us how her first class degree earned her an award from the Seychelles government as well as a job doing what she has always wanted to do.

Siu Fa Ng from Malaysia came to the University of Plymouth to study a BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering followed by an MSc in Flood Risk. She tells us how she is now helping to safeguard millions of businesses, homes and lives from flooding.

Arvind Shanmukham from Mumbai in India came to the University of Plymouth to study for an MSc in Network Systems Engineering. He tell us how his MSc has helped him with his work as well as how much he enjoyed his time in Plymouth.

Dr Cen Tjhai from Indonesia joined the University of Plymouth on a BEng (Hons) Computer Engineering course, progressed to an MSc in Communication Engineering and Signal Processing and is now undertaking a PhD and working as a Lecturer at the University. He tell us how, during the course of his studies, he cracked a complex transmission code used to send information back from space.

Ryder Taff from the USA is studying an MSc in Maths and Philosopy at the University of Bristol. He tells us about his reasons for choosing Bristol, how he settled in, academic differences and social opportunities.
