Over 200 South West businesses found out how to win by getting involved in the London 2012 games at an event today organised by the RELAYS project and held at the University of the West of England (UWE).
As part of an on-going dialogue with central government, Universities South West placed an advertorial in the House Magazine this month, to illustrate the success that collaboration between universities, businesses and partner organisations is having in the South West.
We believe that there is a strong message to communicate to central government and are determined to help key decision makers and influencers understand what has to be done, what is being done and what could be done in the Region.
Designers from across the South West gathered at the South West Design Forum summit to launch a ground-breaking initiative called Design Buddy on Thursday 18th March. Funded by Universities South West and the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship, the project is aligned with three Universities - Bath Spa, Plymouth and Arts University College Bournemouth, giving final year students an industry mentor to help them understand the industry, develop their portfolios and hone their skills.
