Careers Group

The Careers Group was formed in April 2000 and comprises representatives from the higher education careers services in the South West.

Students and graduates are a valuable economic resource for the region and the Careers Group works with the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) on projects aimed at promoting the South West as a source of graduate opportunities as well as being a pleasant place to live and work.

In addition, the group will be looking at ways of encouraging local businesses to offer work experience and placements for students currently studying in the area, thereby supporting businesses whilst providing students with a valuable insight into the benefits of working in the South West.
