Creative Industries Group
The Creative Industries are worth £1 billion to the South West economy. There are 21,000 creative businesses in the region and 7,500 individual artists, the highest number outside London. The 90,000 people employed in the Creative Industries represent 5% of regional employment.
The Creatives Industries Group is currently undertaking a project on Arts in the SW - further details will follow shortly.
