The Road to Recovery

The national economic downturn is high on the agenda for all public and private sector organisations and a number of initiatives are in place and developing in order to help with the recovery.

It is widely recognised that the higher education sector will play a significant role in responding to the downturn and support individuals and businesses affected by the recession.  Across the UK all of the regional higher education associations have been commissioned to collate information directly illustrating how the sector is working to have a positive impact during these difficult times. 

The Higher Education Regional Associations (HERA) Barometer is being collated on a bimonthly basis and reports to both central government and other stakeholders on existing and planned activity taking place across the regions.
