Description: After graduating from Bath Spa University with a BA (Hons) in Education Studies and Dance, I headed to Plymouth to do a PGCE in Primary Education. I taught in a local primary school for a couple of years before leaving on a jet plane to explore foreign lands.
Upon my return I was fortunate enough to find a job that I absolutely loved within heritage learning. I developed creative projects for young people using the City of Plymouth’s archives and had the opportunity to promote the City’s rich history to a vast number or people, organisations and educational institutions. Although my enthusiasm for my job was still plentiful, I learnt of a project called RELAYS which aimed to inspire and engage young people in the arts and youth sport... with my belongings in a handkerchief tied to a stick, I set off for Bournemouth ready to take on the world... and the rest is history, as they say!
