Name: Tamsin Godfrey - Cultural Co-ordinator, University College Falmouth
Description: My background is in arts and cultural event management. After five years working for the British Council’s Arts Department helping British Artists to show their work internationally, a secondment to British Council Santiago led to year nurturing a love affair with Latin America. I returned to the UK in 2006 to organise exhibitions at Kettle’s Yard House and Gallery in Cambridge and study for an MA in Contemporary Art History and Theory at Essex.
In 2007 I moved to Cornwall to work for University College Falmouth, and fulfil a life-long dream of living by the sea. In my current role as Performance Centre Producer- RELAYS, I feel very fortunate to be developing a new public programme of contemporary performance in UCF’s fantastic, state of the art facility, and creating opportunities for young people in Cornwall to be part of 2012.
