Name: Gwyneth Leonard - Business Fellow, University of Exeter
Description: My role is to promote the work of universities to business and the community. To date I have been involved in a number of activities including helping to bring in research funding, organising networking events and explaining to business about the need for students and new graduates to be offered work experience. I am based in the department of Sport and Health Sciences where I have learnt a great deal about the link between exercise and health.
I have encouraged students to volunteer for London 2012 and I am looking forward to all the sporting and cultural events that will be held around the Games.
