Description: Candida is leading the development of the Jurassic Coast Earth Festival 2012, and has programmed arts elements of the Fossil Festival 2010 and 2011.
For Candida, working on the Festivals is a welcomed coming-together of various strands of her life: international development and public policy advocacy, mostly in Latin America; the arts for education, for social change and for inter-cultural understanding; and community-driven environmental sustainability. Encouraging a celebration and an appreciation of our Natural World Heritage, the Earth Festival embraces the values of the 2012 Games and of UNESCO; and being part of the RELAYS project helps ensure we can leave a lasting legacy.
