Local businesses in Boscombe Spa have organised a ‘Celebration Day’ to mark the completion of the seafront regeneration. For the second year running RELAYS will be supporting the annual fossil festival which will celebrates the 2010 International year of Biodiversity. Alongside this the RELAYS Cultural Coordinator at the Arts University College will also be working with young people in Lyme Regis on a graffiti project which will see them creating four boards to be exhibited in the seafront shelters as part of the festival. On May 7th RELAYS will be running the Art of Sport Festival which will see over 400 year 7 pupils taking part in a mixture of sports and arts based activities at Weymouth College. Other partners are Weymouth College, Dorset County Council, West Dorset County Council, West Dorset School Sports Partnership and Active Dorset
For the second year running RELAYS will be supporting the University College Falmouth's Sportswear Design Fashion Show which showcases the work of the students over the past year. There will be live music and performances throughout the evening.

On the 10th and 11th June 2010 teams of children from across Plymouth, East Cornwall and West Devon will battle it out at the two day festival. Alongside the competitions competitors will get the opportunity to learn new skills and take part in a whole host of activities.

Writing students and staff will work with members of the community to prepare poetry for performance at the festival. They will also write and perform their own poetry inspired by their experience of the project. Keynsham Music festival is community-led, free to attend and has been going for eleven years. It includes a variety of music and performance over 4 stages, as well as creative workshops, stalls and food concessions. It attracts audiences of approx 10,000 people.
For the second year running RELAYS will be running the Weymouth Beach Festival as part of Spirit of the Sea. The Festival will see children invited from local schools taking part in activities such as kayaking, canoeing and kite surfing.

On the 5th - 10th July The Works dance company in Cornwall and RELAYS staff and students from the University College Falmouth will take to Trebah Gardens for a week for vibrant dance performances and events. During the week the gardens will be open to members of the public and local schools and colleges will be invited to participate in performance and dance workshops.
